About the album

ambo is the second album by frise lumière, the sound art and performance project of Ludovic Gerst, released by Tapenade Records. Built around prepared bass, resonance and extended playing techniques, the album unfolds as a continuous exploration of sound, space and physical listening.

ambo The term ‘ambo’ originated with the writer Maria Gabriela Llansol, who defined it as two beings that, even when together, keep their singularity, growing mutually in dialogue without canceling one other out.
